Tom Rogers is a lifelong resident of South Pasadena, where he grew up and now proudly raises his family. Deeply rooted in the community, he serves as a board member of the Oneonta Club and is widely known for his involvement in local baseball.

From Little League to high school programs, Tom has dedicated countless hours supporting youth athletics and helping build a strong sense of teamwork and community spirit. A devoted husband and father of two, he remains committed to giving back to the town that shaped him.

Through his ongoing contributions, Tom continues to play an active role in keeping South Pasadena connected, engaged, and thriving.

SPHS Jazz Ensemble

Tim Orindgreff is the Music Director at South Pasadena High School (91030), where he leads the instrumental program and the SPHS Jazz Ensemble. A multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, he has performed and recorded with artists including Eric Clapton, James Brown, Herbie Hancock, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, he studied at Berklee College of Music before building a career in the music industry. At SPHS, he directs multiple ensembles and fosters a strong, performance-driven music program.

Under his leadership, the SPHS Jazz Ensemble emphasizes collaboration, musicianship, and real-world experience. Orindgreff is dedicated to inspiring students and cultivating a lasting appreciation for music within the South Pasadena community.

Dr. Angela Baxter

Dr. Angela Baxter is the Superintendent of South Pasadena Unified School District, serving the South Pasadena (91030) community. With a career spanning decades in public education, she has held leadership roles including teacher, principal, and district administrator.

Dr. Baxter is known for her focus on academic excellence, student well-being, and strong community engagement. Under her leadership, the district continues to prioritize innovation, equity, and high-performing schools.

She works closely with educators, families, and local organizations to support student success at every level. Dr. Baxter remains committed to fostering a collaborative environment that reflects the values of the South Pasadena community.
