The Oneonta Club Foundation Scholarship Awards Meeting

Tom Rigers and his Education Committee once more invite our related organization, The Oneonta Club Foundation, to present their Annual Scholarships and Teacher Grants as part of the Club meeting.

This is always a great meeting, and this year will be one more that you wont want to miss.

Performing for us during dinner will be Mr. Howard Crawford, leading the South Pasadena High School Jazz Band. If this year’s band is even half as good as last year’s we are in for a treat.

Dinner will be Norma’s famous meatloaf, with fluffy mashed potatoes, veggies and chocolate cake.

In addition to the Foundation presenting its usual three (3) $10,000 (!) scholarships and two (2) $1000 teacher grants, Tom has secured a great catch of a speaker for us, the soon to be retiring, Virtual Enterprises Team advisor, Ms. Cathy Mason.

Ms. Mason has repeatedly led the SPHS Team to Nationals, and this year they placed first in California and 3rd in the entire USA.

Add to that that I am sure Odom will have a special beverage for cocktail hour, and this will be one for the ages!
